video card comparisons/recommendation???

I have a geForce 5200 card running two monitors. I'm considering upgrading to a dual-DVI out video card. I've scouted out the Wildcat VP880 Pro and the Oxygen GVX420 cards.

Does anyone have any recommendations/comments on either of these or any other dual-DVI video cards?

Total overkill for just running Photoshop...
The Wildcat and Oxygen lines are both targeted at the 3d workstation audience...
I guess of you've got the money to burn though - more power to yah. =)

Same advice I gave someone else recently:

If you're buying for 2D then most of the more powerful cards are over the top as most power is concentrated in 3D. If you need 3D as well, then the Radeon 9800 Pro based cards (such as the Sapphire Atlantis and the Gigabyte) are the best all round with good 3D and better 2D than Nvidia cards. if you really must have the best 3D then you're wasting your time spending your money now as the new Radeon and NVidia based cards will be out in July.

Looks like those X800 cards might do the trick (except that I can't find any pictures of them to see if they have 2 DVI ports, the lit on them indicates they have only one and a VGA port. I would like two DVI ports. Guess I'll find out for sure in a couple months...

That's because they've only got previews out at the moment. Wait for the cards to come out, read the reviews, and then wait for a couple of months more to buy one because the price will have dropped a little and the drivers will be more mature (because the poor bastards who live on the bleeding edge will have found all the bugs for you <g>).
