hi all!

has someone got experience with cloud filters (rendering filters) on large images -> beyond 5.000×5.000 pixels 360 dpi. the problem i am facing is, that the larger the image gets, the smaller and more tiled the clouds turn out. the clouds i get look more like a flock of sheep seen from space 🙂

can someone help?

have got access to photoshop cs

thx

The solution would be to run the filter on a smaller image at a lower resolution, and then scale it up. The result will be poor quality, but since it is only clouds, you can run a blur filter on it safely and smooth it out again.

Are you viewing the image at 100% or is it scaled down to 25% or so for example?
