file browser: is there a way to select next image after delete?

Using the file browser like a slide sorter, after I delete a "looser" image the file selection is lost. I’d prefer to have the browser select the next image instead of "no" image so I could just use the keyboard.

Anyone know if this is possible, or where to submit a feature request?
