I have had the same problem with the serial number expiring as others. I attempted to remove all traces of Phogoshop CS from the registry to reinstall it, but when using the install CD the error messages tell me that there is an error and removal can only be cone with the Photoshop install CD. I'm chasing my tail on this one. Can anyone help who has solved the same problem. How do I remove all signs of Photoshop CS from tehe redistry.?

The problem is probably that you were using a pirate release of Photoshop CS. (I know... nobody uses pirated software) As I understand, the first version to hit the scene was a beta version which expired after a certain time. Chances are, you'll never find all the bits left behind and it will never install again for you. The good news is that if you buy a retail version it should install without any problem.
