An attempt was made to reinstall an upgrade version of photoshop 6, when I encountered an error number 115 message.
media name: data, component: typespt, File Group: TypesptMojikumi, File:C:\Program Files\common files\adobe\typespt\mojikumi\photoshop6mojikumi

I have a Presario 700z compaq notebook computer, Amd Athlon 4, 996 mhz, 112 mb ram. windows XP. This is the first time i have ever encountered this problem. Please help.

empty your temp folder, close all running apps (or better yet restart in safe mode) and reinstall. alternately, copy the photoshop folder from the cd to your desktop and run setup.exe from there instead of the disk.
