im looking for(or looking how to make) a brush to emulate my berol prismacolor soft thick lead pencils. id like to use the same blending technique in photoshop that i do on paper, if thats possible.
any help would be much appreciated. thanks

I'm not sure what you are asking. Do you want to pick up paper texture with the brush? Do you want the brush to be not round? PS has some tools to mimic natural media, but they are not nearly as sophisticated as Painter. This is an issue where different textures are desired.

thanks for the replys.
with the real pencils one can layer color and color on top of eachother many times to the point where the paper cannot hold any more, it then starts sluffing off the colors below it somewhat.(making graphite shavings). do this long enough and you can make almost photographic like pictures. im not quite sure how to explain it...
ill check out both that link and have a look see about Painter. are there any other programs like painter that are geared more towards making art?
