Something has changed with my quick mask. For some reason it is in grayscale instead of the red that the mask color is set at. Can someone help me out? Thanks

Look at the channels palette when you are in QM mode.
Double click on the Quick Mask channel, to set the color and opacity of the preview.
Of course when you view the Quick Mask channel by itself, it will preview as a grayscale. That's what it is after all...
