For the last 4 years I have been using PS 5.0 with Win 98SE and a venerable old Epson 740 Color printer. I got great prints that closely matched what I saw on my monitor.
I was able to make the necessary subtle color corrections with my printer software. It allowed me to add or subtract varying amounts of Cyan, Magenta and Yellow to tweak the final color output as needed. I just switched to Win Xp and PS 7.0 but kept the same printer. However, now my Printer "Properties" look different. I can’t find a way to get into an advanced mode that lets me tweak the CMY colors to get my prints to look like my monitor image. Also the prints are paler than with my old setup.
Any thoughts on why my printer "Properties" look different?? Bob Williams
