Hi all.

I’m still pretty much a PS novice.

I was fiddling around with the resolution on
my Monitor. I upped it from 1152×864 to 1280×1024.
I enlarged the PS window to fill the screen.
Everything was to small for my eyes so I lowered
the resolution back down.

The problem I have now is when I start up Photoshop
the bottom and sides if the window are off the
screen. I have to move the window around to get
the edges back on the screen to make the window
smaller.

Is there a way to get PS to remember the window
size so that when I start the program the window
isn’t off the screen?

Oh, I’m using windows XP, and Photoshop 7.0

Thanks.

i you haven’t already then try this –

restore down the PS main window, that’s the middle button in the upper left of the app bar. once PS gets smaller shut it down then shut the system down and reboot.
once it’s back up restart PS – and remaximize. bet that fixes the prob.

Why not just go back the higher rez, make the window smaller, then go back to the smaller rez. Then right-click on the icon and in Properties choose Run>Maximize.

Or, since you’re in XP, use System Restore to go back to a time before you made the change.
