When I open Photoshop it opens and then closes it self, Win XP

I been using Photoshop for about a year know and I never had any problems. Just recently I added some open type to my PC. A week later it attempted to open Photoshop and It began the usual way, the screen popped up as if it where loading, but for some reason after that the program closed it's self.... It does this now every time I try to open Photoshop.
