He could cut one out of a piece of paper and stick it on his monitor screen. Or if he was an advanced user he could scan it in.

How can you add arrow to a pic if you want to pin point a specific area of the pic to the viewer?Use the Line Tool (Shapes). When you select it there's a little dropdown triangle in the Options Bar that allows you to add arrowheads.
