Stolen photos by Lewis Lang - What should I do?

A photographer by the name of Lewis Lang stole many of my images and was selling them for profit. What can I do about this? What are my options?

Are they on the net? In any event, you have to formally notify Mr. Lang with the particulars; copies of the pictures, descriptions, where they appeared, but not how you know (or believe you know) that he aquired them. You should save that for later. Send the notification by US Mail with a return receipt. You will need proof that the images are yours. Good luck.

Why trick the respondents to perpetrate more spam?

My second suggestion is to contact your solicitor, or attorney, rather than posting this information on the Usenet.

It's not me doing that.

I guess because the troll- actually, not a troll in the better sense of the word- an enfeebled and tortured soul, a quisling, and a coward gets some payoff in starting flame wars.
