k...branko has an INTELLIGENT point and argument...that i can agree with.
unlike others he or she has a compelling argument...that points to the manual and other on-line resources without posting to the NG.
soooo...my suggestion to the newbie bashers here (i am hardley a newbie msyelf after using this program professionaly for nine years)....is give em a small break...point out the manual or F1 and call it day.
TRUST me...i deal with this at work all the time. It INFURIATES me to no end when someone comes up to me and wants some PS help in 5 minutes...when they wont do anything on their own to learn it themselves! I WILL give tips and guidance to those at work who DO some leg work on their own. After all ....that is how i learned.
and i do think that there is some level playing field on the NG for newbies and ultra geeks to co-exist together.
cant we all just play nice????
