I once came across a tutorial that explained how I can adjust my type to the contoures of my background surface. but, I can't seem to find it any more. does anyone know how to do it, or where I can find a tutorial on the subject?
thanks.

I'm guessing that you're talking about Displacement Maps. Do a search on that. I can tell you that text won't be editable if used with a Displacement Mask.
