Some new applications for the new currency pattern that prevents Photoshop and other apps, as well as color copiers. If this logic is added in the future to digital cameras (maybe its there already?) it becomes even more interesting. Imagine a surveillance camera that stops working because the currency detector software is embedded in the imaging pipeline somewhere.
Keep in mind the pattern can be very subtle - printed in yellow and combined with other design elements, as on the back of a US $20.
Web page protection. Images embedded with this pattern may be viewed on the web but not photoshopped to remove overt copyright watermarks and such. Look for a utility to do this soon
A fabric pattern. Wear a shirt with the pattern on it and no one can Photoshop an image of you. Extend this to automobiles, suitcases, and other personal possessions.
Wallpaper. Pictures taken in a room with this wallpaper may not be photoshopped.
Stationery. Material printed on this paper may not be copied or photoshopped - checks, confidential memos, diary pages, checks.
Topiary, crop circles, or other ground decoration would prevent aerial photographs of an area from being processed in Photoshop.
Any more ideas?

Damn. They come up with that?! The next step would be to make our belongings (or even faces?!) completely invisible. I'd say that's the ultimate solution to the issue.
As "--o--" says, the current one is bound to be cracked eventually.

Personally I'd have thought it would do more good to make it recognise things like human genitals and sex acts, and thereby knock a nail in the porn industry's coffin.
(Although that may put an end to pictures of trains going into tunnels, waves crashing on beaches or flocks of birds taking off in panic!) --

i'll never watch IJ and the Last Crusade quite the same way again.
