Slice grid image

Hi,

For our website I would like to edit some pictures with photoshop. One thing I would like - as seen on some webpages - is a slicing technique in gridshape. Ofcourse I don't know the name of the technique. Maybe I can explain it a little more.
A grid is loaded over an image and it looks like the picture is sliced into pieces following the gridlines, so all pieces have the same size. Then, each piece can be edit, mostly some will be deleted on a left or right edges of the image, looking a bit like a broken down wall. The picture will look like a wall... Hope some understands?

My question is how to achief that in photoshop, a technique name will be fine, google will help me further then....

Thanks in advance!

Description :

This filter will create custom grids. X Grids: This variable defines the number of horizontal grid boxes. Y Grids: This variable defines the number of vertical grid boxes. NOTE: If 'Lock Y to X' is active, this variable will always equal X Grids. L-Trans: This variable controls (in percent) the transparency of the line over the underlying image. NOTE: This variable is color dependent so experiment with different colors to achieve different transparency effects. B-Trans: This variable controls (in percent) the transparency of the background color over the underlying image. NOTE: This variable is color dependent so experiment with different colors to achieve different transparency effects. Line Color and Background Color: This lets you choose the line and background color. Draw Line and Draw Back: If these variables are inactive, the line and/or background will not be rendered. Lock Y to X: This option will snap your Y Grids to match X Grids for equal and proportional grids. Draw Border: This option allows you to control whether or not the outline grid border is rendered. R,G,B: Controls which color channels to output. Reset: This option resets all variables to their default values. Realtime: Applies all effects (in realtime) on 'mouse drag' instead of on 'mouse release'.
