When opening Photoshop 7.0, sometimes the browser palette does not appear anywhere and cannot be retrieved by resetting the palette locations (Window > Workspace > Reset palette locations) and neither at File > Browse (Those commands are greyed out) I can still access the files by double-clicking the work space, which loads the Windows standard browser which does not allow for batch renaming etc.. After a few days, the Photoshop browser reappears again for no apparent reason!….

Can anybody help me understand what is going on?
Thanks!
Mario

Have you applied the 7.0.1 update?

It does makes sense to try that first, even if my problem is not specifically listed! I can’t say if it worked yet because the browser was back just before I loaded 7.0.1 so I need to wait a few days to find out. In any case, thank you for the hint!.

All I know is that browser functionality was enhanced by the update. So, fingers crossed!
