My palette/window that displays file thumbnails is half off of my screen...I have the entire bottom and the right-hand side, but a small sliver of the left-hand side is off of the screen (I do have dual monitors but the other one is on, and it is on the right side), and, the biggest problem--the top part, with the bar that allows me to mimize it or move it around, is completely cut off at the top of the screen ("underneath" the Photoshop title bar). I've tried "un-viewing" the options bar to see if I could uncover any of it, and resetting my palettes (also restarting photoshop)...what to do?

Try resetting prefs [see FAQ]?

That still didn't work....

Try again, because that should work. You can also try Window -. Workspace -> Reset Palette Locations. If the palettes are still partially offscreen, you might want to try adjusting your monitor. Also pay attention to the minimal required monitor resolutions on the box (though palette layout should still be fine down to 800x600).

The thing is, is that Resette Palettes should ideally 'snap' all palettes (and dialog boxes) to the single monitor being used. This has been a source of frustration for months!
