Hi

Does anyone know of a good way to delete a single direction line on a point. I’m talking about just the one side of the anchor point so that one side is a straight line and the other side a curve.
My only work around is to drag the handle back on to the anchor point. Is there a better way?
Are there any good tuts around on advanced path editing – for combining, punching, intersecting shapes and paths.

I’m using ps7 on a windows platform.

thanks

John.

John,

Just click on the Anchor point with the Convert Point Tool

Yes, I have been trying it all the time, but that deletes both direction lines of the anchor point.
For example if I want to delete the direction line to the left of the anchor point only and not the direction line on the right of the anchor point.

Does that make more sense?

I don’t know if you’ve ever used Freehand, but there you can choose to delete a handle on the left or right of a node.

thanks.

You have to just drag the handle back to the origin with the Convert Point Tool

thanks Len

As I said before, that is the method I am currently using already. I just thought there was cleaner way to do it.
Appreciate your responses though. 🙂
