White fog boarder around a picture

Hi,

Using Win Cs version. Quick question, I have a few photos that I am scanning and would like to add a white fog border around them about 1/2 inch depth. Any ideas?

Rectangle marquee tool > draw about 1/4 " less than image > feather (you'll want to ply with amount) > invert selection > delete
