Lasso tools don’t seem to work properly in Photoshop CS.

When outlining an image with the lasso tools they seem to either drop the outine or close the loop unexpectly. Is there a fix for this? Using Windows XP and Photoshop CS

The only time I see that kind of thing is when the batteries are getting low in my cordless mouse.

check your mouse drivers or connection or battery or clean the mouse ball or sensors. if you have a wacom, make sure the pen or mouse isn’t sitting on the pad when using a non-wacom input device.
