Only pink/purple colors when using winxp

Hello,

First I used Adobe Photoshop 7 with winme, but now I've installed windows xp. I re-installed Adobe Photoshop 7. But if I now (with winxp) open an image, all colors have changed to purple/pink-like colors (see <http://users.pandora.be/erikgeiss/msgboard/untitled.jpg> for a nice example ;-) ). This problem didn't occur while using winme. Can someone please help me how to fix this?

You need to run Adobe Gamma from the Control Panel and create a new monitor profile

I did that, but it didn't help anything.

Open Adobe Gamma.

LOAD sRGB as you starting point.

Change the text in the description box to something like "My Monitor"

Follow the on-screen instructions.

SAVE to a NEW filename.

If THAT doesn't fix it, you have a video-card/driver problem...
