Hi,
Something strange is happening with my info palette in Photoshop CS. It happens mostly on 16-bit RGB images, but I’ve also seen it on 8-bit RGB. The problem occur when I’ve set a sample point with the Color Sampler Tool and adjusts the image with either Levels or Curves. When I drag the arrows in Levels or move the curve in Curves, the #1 sample colors in the info palette often disappears.

To get them back, I have to release the mouse button.
Sometimes it’s enough to just move the arrows or the curve a little bit, but in 8 out of 10 cases, I have to release the mouse button to get the numbers back.
Am I the only one experiencing this? I’ve never seen this behaviour in earlier versions of Photoshop. I have both Photoshop 6.01 and 7.01 installed at the moment and they always show the numbers no matter how much I drag the arrows in Levels or bend the curve in Curves.
(WinXP Pro SP1, 2 x 866 MHz P3, 2 GB RAM).
