Registering Photoshop 7.0.1

I have PhotoShop 7.0.1 and registered it when we first bought it. I have since reformatted my computer and have installed PS back onto it. But when I run PS the register screen pops up and when I go to register it online it says that the "CD KEY" is invalid. But it's the exact one that came with PS. Can someone please help me out. Do I need to register the same product twice? Can I turn off that register pop-up?

you only need to register it once. you did that the first time. it's probably rejecting the 2nd registration because you already registered it.

Can I turn off that register pop-up?

There should be a check box on it somewhere with something like "Don't show this screen again"
