If anyone has run PS v7 or greater on a Tablet PC, I would appreciate any comments, particularly with regards to performance. "Go" or "No Go". Thanks!

It depends on what you’re doing, I guess.

I run Photoshop CS on my Toshiba 3505 and it is good for drawing … not great, but good. For example, pressure sensitive strokes work way better in Flash and in Windows Journal (my favorite for drawing) than in Photoshop. The strokes are a little jittery.

I don’t think it would be very good for high-resolution editing. Also, although my Tablet PC has a keyboard, I can’t really use the pen and keyboard at the same time, so it’s a little frustrating there.

It took a lot of customizing but I’m pretty happy with it these days.

A few tips:

1. Get a pressure sensitive tablet: The Toshiba 3505 has an eraser, too. You’ll need to install the Enhanced Graphics Driver for TabletPC from Wacom to get Photoshop to reconize the pen as pressure-sensitive.

2. A program like "Easy Interface" really helps out: <http://www.easyinterface.biz/> I have used the trial a little bit and I think I’m going to buy the full version.
