Will Photoshop 7 or CS work with a Tablet PC?

1. is the pen pressure sensitive?

2. can you draw directly on the screen in the location that you want to paint, clone, etc.?

Heh. You can’t expect immediate responses here. Especially since some of us have been very good about not working weekends since we shipped ;-).

Anyway, yes, it will work on a Tablet PC, and yes, it will be pressure sensitive if the Tablet PC model you get supports that. My understanding is that the Tablet PC interface is generally equivalent to a Wacom Graphire tablet, which is pretty good for basic tablet use.

That being said, you *may* want to still have some small mouse or trackball hooked up when working with Photoshop. We haven’t yet provided an option that optimizes some of the interface elements such as menus and you can find your hand covering a useful part of the screen when trying to do some things.

Photoshop works great on TabletPCs using Wacom’s technology (i.e. pens don’t have batteries.) Just download the free driver update from:
