Hi.

In Photoshop CS, (win xp, 256k ram) when I click on save for the web, and save as a jpeg, my jpegs are corrupted files.

To see the results I'm getting go to:

This is 4 out of 12 images that are screwing up. Does anyone know what causes this problem and how it can be fixed?

Thanks

Llewellyn,

Looks VERY much as though you have an HHD, Drive cables or EIDE/SCSI controller problem. I'd check that all your drive cables are seated properly as a first step.

or are you saving across a network? definately some kind of I/O problem.

I have two computers networked...I work in photoshop on one, and save the final jpeg's to my other computer, which I use as a server, with cold fusion server, IIS, and sqlserver 2000.

Also, I just recently installed a 2nd hard drive on my "working" computer (not the server).

ok. test time. save some jpgs locally. does the corruption occur? if not you've got a network problem. if so, it's likely a cable or hard drive going bad in your system, as len said.

since you just installed a 2nd hard drive, it couldn't hurt to open 'er back up and check all the cable connections anyway. watch out for static, of course.
