how to input chinese character in Photoshop 6.0??

I had follow the instruction from online help. Click on Edit --> Preference --> General click on 'Asian text' option. I try again on typing chinese character but still cannot work out. Can somebody tell me why? and how? thanks a lot!

is you operating system set up to handle the characters? are you using a chinese font?
