Couldn't Import Clipboard because there's not enough RAM

I do not know what is going on. Suddenly, I started to get this message on startup of PS7. I reinstalled PS7, I earased Preferences file, and I keep getting this error.

After I click OK on that error, it goes away and I can work in PS. I do not understand where this error came from. I have 1.5 Gig of memory and 2.8 GHz Processor Speed.

If you know what is causing this error to happen, please let me know.

Thanks tons.

what's in the clipboard? also there should be a always import clipboard registry file in the forum FAQ section. in there there should be a reg file to turn that on and to turn it off. try both ways. also do you have the 7.01 update?

Nothing is in clipboard.
No, 7.1 update does not work for me for some reason.

Those reg files are for 6.0 version. at least that's what it says. :-(

Sounds like another time to reset prefs [see FAQ]. Such odd behaviour is most often fixed by this [your reinstall won't have done this, BTW.].

COLIN WALLS: Sorry, but did you carefully read what I wrote initially? Quoting:

I did read what you wrote. However, the location of the prefs file is often non-obvious and it is possible to think you've erased it, but haven't really done so. Hence, my suggestion to reset prefs, thus ensuring the file that PS is using is cleared.
