Hello friends, I’m stuck again. I’m looking to not only soften the edges of layers but thin the transparency with varying opacities. I’m working on a collage and I am trying to blend the pictures. I’ve grappled with the eraser tools and all the brushes I think would help me achieve my look but alas, obstacle and resistance are the end results. Please assist. As always thanx in advance. You people always know how to help out.

Derek, are you trying to Feather the edges?

In that case, open a new document and put your picture in it. Make sure the doc is bigger than the pic. Select All, Feather, Select Inverse, delete. You’ll have to play around with how big of a feather.
