How can Photoshop 7 OEM be sold for 59.95?

You’d be naive to think it’s legit, but its vaule is relative to what the seller wants to sell and the buyer wants to pay. People do sell things cheap for a quick sale and they have their reasons. Probably not here though. You’d need to get the licence number and make a call to Adobe.

OEM software is illegal to sell without the hardware. So unless this is coming with a scanner of digital camera or something like that it is as good as pirated, that being no support, no registration and no upgrades.

I got Photoshop 4 full at a reduced rate several years ago with a scanner, but it had little documentation. I haven’t seen any such deals lately-only for Photoshop Elements.

As far as I know Photoshop 7 isn’t available OEM with any thing expensive or cheap. If it were it would have to be a rather expensive peice of equipement to make it worth the cost of the full Photoshop. As you said most things come with Photoshop Elements 1.0 or 2.0.

Most likely this is just a pirate copy and they think that saying it is an OEM makes it ok without knowing that even as a real OEM it would still be illegal.
