how do i easily and quickly add a watermarks to an image i want to use online?

Try this…

Create your watermark – text or graphic, color = Black
Add watermark to image as new layer
Resize and position
Add Bevel/Emboss layer style to the watermark layer with the following settings:
Structure –
Inner bevel
Smooth
150%
Up
2px
0px
Shading –
120
Use global
30
Screen
75%
Multiply
75%

OK back to the layers palette.
Set watermark blending mode to Soft Light.

Done.
