I installed Phtshp 7 on my pavilion ze5400. Op system is XP Pro. After the installation, when I clickd on the Word Perfect Task Manager, any task that required the Quattro Pro application opened Photoshop 7 instead. Is there a patch to fix this problem. I did not have this problem until I installed Phtsp 7. Also, when I un-installed Phtsp 7 and clicked on the Word Perfect Task Manager, any application requiring Quattro Pro stated that Quattro Pro was not installed.

Yvette,

I’m not a Word Perfect user, so I’m not familiar with its "Task Manager," but it sounds like a simple file association cross-up. There may be a couple of ways to fix it, the least complicated of which may be to install PS7, (or reinstall, since you uninstalled), then re-install, or refresh your installation of Quattro Pro. That should allow Quattro Pro to "take back" its associations, if indeed Photoshop has "stolen" one or more.

Hi John, it does sound like a simple problem, but none of those solutions have worked. Unfortunately, I can’t re-install Quattro because it came within the XP system pack. My next move I guess would be to talk to Microsoft and Corel. Thanks for your help. Yvette
