When working in ps7 I have cursors set to "brush size" and "standard". While working they often change to "precise". I check preferences for cursors and nothing there has changed. I have tried changing them out and then back in pref. but they refuse to revert. I must reopen ps to get back to "brush size" cursor.

I guess I am hitting some key combo inadvertently and changing this myself but I don’t really know what causes the change. I am using a wacom tablet.

Any ideas?

When you set the <caps lock> key the brush size changes to "precise". Hit it again and the brush changes back.

That’s it. Had the damm cap lock thing disabled in keyboard software but with an upgrade it had come back on. It’s always with these little things that this board saves the day.

Is there a "Society for the Abolition of the Caps Lock Key"? I’d join.

I’ll join. The placement of some of the auxilliary keys is a marvel of lousy engineering. Caps lock ought to be out of the way where it cannot be easily struck by accident.

From Windows HELP me files…. sort of.

To Switch ToggleKeys on and off, press NUM LOCK for five seconds

ToggleKeys instructs your computer to play a high sound when the CAPS LOCK, SCROLL LOCK, or NUM LOCK key is switched on and a low sound when any of those keys are switched off.

This may help the inadvertant keypress..
