Is CS6 a great update from CS5? I like CS5 and hate to think CS6 is so much better. That’s a lot of money to spend.

as with nearly all upgrades, its pretty much the same with a few more bells and whistles. Like patch content aware tool. There are plenty of vids on youtube showing the few new toys they gave us.

Like all photoshops, its a real shame when you buy it once, you can’t buy these extra tools only. But hey i guess thats whats called marketing.

I mean what has really changed over each version in cs to warrent paying for it all again? Yes we go for upgrades which are cheaper of course. I was hoping the deblurring tool would have come in it as mentioned in sneak peeks, but i doesnt. They did add another blur tool though lol

There’s a bunch of new features.

I set up Outlook (for mail, etc.) instead of Outlook Express, and the newsgroups still come in OE, so I tend to forget about them. I just came on today to check it out, and post some pictures I’ve been doing (got addicted to, at the moment… "out of bounds" it’s called, like 3D art) Not too practical I guess, but I found a simple to follow tutorial for it, and have learned a lot from trying them on my own. Layers, masks, selection, etc. They aren’t "perfect" (I’m thinking someone here will point that out- and how it’s just fooling round (with PS) LOL) but it’s kind of fun. I keep seeing pictures that might be good for it. Some of the examples I’ve seen online are amazing- like with one object coming out of one pitcutre onto another. So, I guess in a way "where have you been"… I’ve been lost in PHOTOSHOP… I can’t say I’ve been distracted by "Spring" because here in Northern Vermont it’s still cold and sometimes snowing (a little)

All but the yoga picture (and the birds and bridge on the right side of that one) are mine. Or some my family took.
The tutorial I found that is fairly simple is
http://videofreetutorials.com/out-of-bounds-effect-made-simp le-photoshop/ And I know, they aren’t perfect, the selection and cutting out and setting up. If you look closely LOL

I’m still playing with CS3. I got the trial download for one of the new ones (maybe CS5) and didn’t like it. I don’t remember now just why LOL

From what I have seen I think CS3 is great. I don’t know what else can be done, it doesn’t do.
