Have you tried to print a nozzle pattern to check that the printer is working properly?

Hey Jon,
Wrong profile? Possibly a problem with the ink and paper combination. Have you tried different paper?

Sorry, don’t blame the printer, my Epson 1290 works perfectly with Photoshop.

I suggest you check your profiles, maybe the one you are using is for the HP printer.

Get the proper profiles for the 1280/90
(If you can’t find them I’ll send them to you)

I found them on this excellent site.
BTW,if you follow this guy’s instructions you’ll be a happy printer.

The only profiles are those set when I installed Photoshop and my printer, but I have never setup any other printer on my system.

Could it be a leftover from when you used the HP?
