Maybe they figure no one reads them anyway? The last thing I got from Adobe (Go Live and Live Motion) came with a library. Several books and an instructional CD as well as the software itself. I’d ask Adobe what the deal is.

I received a manual with the PS CS upgrade. Although I think it is useless for anyone acquainted with PS already.

In my experience, the PS manual is just there to take up all the free space in the box.

I’ve been considering a switch to Adobe, specifically the CS Premium package. That’s now history.

But, Illustrator was worth it…I am having LOTS of fun in Illustrator and actually cranked out a job very quickly today based on
the improved workflow of Illy 11.0. That is why I buy software…to improve my workflow and make me more profitable….not to spend
10 gillion hours reading a single pdf document.

Lots of folks are set back by Adobe, on this.
The manuals would be the same as the last version manuals … except for "new" features
which – are covered in the supplied user guide.
