I was wondering if there’s a way to change the menus in the Japanese version to English. I suppose having them in Japanese will help me learn the language faster, but it’s kind of a hassle at this point.

Thanks for your help!

There’s a forum just for Adobe Photoshop Limited Edition <http://www.adobeforums.com/cgi-bin/webx?14@@.ee6b35e>. They might be able to address your multicultural issues (most certainly better than I can, unless it’s the Simpsons episode where they went to Japan).

The LE product was made for Win95 and at one time came bundled with printers and scanners. It is now a discontinued product and Elements 2 has taken it’s place. So, I imagine you could pick up an old English version at eBay for next to nothing.

If you actually are trying to learn Japanese at the same time, I recommend Adobe’s free tutorial/sample download from:
<http://www.pacific.adobe.com/products/tips/photoshople.html>

get the PDF file (the "Classroom In A Book" instructions) and also one of the three "Sample Art" files (you download the one you need according to the OS you are using). Once you complete this course, you will have most of your answers, in English and need only apply them to your edition. Laugh laugh laugh…
