Photoshop FREEZING every 5 minutes on Vista

What is causing this, I thought Adobe fixed the complaince issues with Vista already? It freezes up and crashes constantly, anyone know of any good work arounds?

What version of Photoshop?
What steps have you already taken to narrow down the cause?

And for almost everyone else, Photoshop is working perfectly with Vista.

Yepp, please provide the system specs. Also, if it is freezing at regular intervals, there may simply be some system process regularly kicking, like your virus scanner checking for updates or something like that…
