Think similar questions had been asked but plaease bear with me. I am using CS4 on Win XP. I noticed that there is always a delay in displaying any changes such as filter, layers etc applied to an image. I have to like click "open" to bring up a separate window to allow the effects to be visible.
Furthermore when I open CS4, options such as "open" etc under File will not appear (except "Open Recent"). I have to click on some options on the panel before these show up. Is this a norm (now) with CS4 or is there some settings that I have not done right?
