I’ve received some new brush sets free with a magazine. Can anyone tell me how I upload them to be used within the Photoshop CS3. Fonts are placed in the C: drive Fonts file for Illustrator purposes. I can’t find a similar folder to put the brushes in?

Just did a quick google and this is the default location

C:\Program Files\Adobe\Adobe Photoshop CS3\Presets\Brushes

Just drop in there and open them up via the brush panel.

To be more exact, when you put them in that folder they will appear on the flyout arrow menu for loading. They won’t appear in the palette until you choose them from that menu or load them from another location.

i’d rather keep them in a totally separate folder like "c:\davesphotoshopstuff", select "load actions" from the fly-out menu in photoshop and navigate there to load. that way nothing gets mixed in with the shipping photoshop stuff…

Smart logic, Dave.

Miles and years apart, we learned some of the same rules.
