PSCS4 Photomerge broken?

Hi,
I just tried merging several different sets of images. Photomerge either did a poor job of blending or could not merge the images.

I went back to previous panoramas and when I tried new merging with the same images, Photomerge could not merge any of the sets.

I have the latest updates- Camera RAW 5.2.

It’s difficult to make any comments without example images.

I upgraded from CS2 and Photomerge is much superior in CS4, especially the blending.
