need info on which photoshop to purchase to make sigs. Would like to use it on a laptop. What is required of the laptop to get good quality. Please answer!!!! Need to purchase as a Xmas Present and do not want to spend a fortune on it if possible!!!!

What are you using it for? If it’s professional offset printing you’ll need the full version. If it’s for home use and web pages Elements will suffice.

In any case the latest full Photoshop may have problems on all but the top-end laptops.

Why don’t you burn a free copy of GIMP (gimp.org) and spend your saved gift money on a pair of mittens, a sweater or underwear?

Ah, so that’s what that meant. Where I come from "sigs" mean cigarettes, and it just never occurred to me to use Photoshop to make that. Anyway, I quit 🙂
