Animated zoom option

The animated zoom could have been such a good complement to tap tap-zoom. But I’m so bothered by the "1/2+"sec delay for anim to start that I don’t use it.. pitty :C

Is there any delay fix or workaround?

I haven’t had any delay. It’s instantaneous. It also works with the hand tool. It’s beautiful. I think God created this version of PS.

I’m not sure, but the delays may be possible to switch off by some more registry hacks. They definitely shouldn’t occur and might hinge on some intentional microsecond delays to determine mouse actions or initialize texture loading in the graphics system. My suspicion is that they could be massaged and shortened…

I would like to see zooming speed to be pressure sensitive with my Wacom pen!

If jeff is correct may be it’s down to comp-strength? zzzz (it’s just a PLAIN zoom already).

I use singelcore p4 3.2ghz 2GB 7600gt.
