Each time I start CS4 I get an error message "Could not load the Adjusted Refresh module because it does not work with this version of Photoshop". There is no option not to show the message in future, and I cannot find where to disable the module.

I am running a CS4 upgrade from CS.

Any ideas about how I can stop this?

did you install in the same folder as cs? or did you copy the plugins folder from cs to cs4? if you did either, that’s a no-no and you’ve probably hosed your configuration. uninstall and reinstall would be the best way to resolve that.

each version should reside in it’s own folder structure and you shouldn’t copy parts of the program from one version to another.

Thanks for that!

I had CS and CS4 in C:\Program Files\Adobe. After uninstalling and reinstalling to a separate folder the error message has not recurred. Not only that, other problems, with GPU and Graphics tablet have disappeared too.
