[ERROR] Could not complete your request because of a program error

I receive this ERROR when I try to open in Photoshop CS2 different files from the same project.

The file size is about ±52MB, with several layers and SmartObjects.

What makes me insane is that I am able to open it on ImageReady CS2 and Illustrator CS2 but not in PS CS2.

I already try to open it in Windows Safe Mode but no success.

This is vital file for my work. Does anyone knows a solution for it?

I could solve the problem using ImageReady but I lost all the SmartObjects.

1. Open the file on ImageReady

2. Hide all the layers

3. Save .PSD

4. Open in Photoshop

It worked for me, but I lost all the SmartObjects as ImageReady doesn’t support it.
