Fuzzy objects when converting images Photshop CS2 Win XP

I have had trouble that all of my images are fuzzy when i convert any image from any program in photoshop. i do not ahve an preset filters running to my knowledge,

Any suggestions where to look for odd ball settings

HELP!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Photoshop shows exactly what’s there, and "preset filters" are unheard of with Photoshop. If such a thing existed it would quickly be shot down by the users.

Tell us where your files came from first. That might give a clue.

Also the file formats (the three- or four-letter extension at the end of the file name) and the pixel dimensions. You’ll find the pixel dimensions if you open it in Photoshop and go to Image > Image Size. Note – that’s the number of pixels – centimeters or inches won’t help.
