Hello there,
I’ve been experiencing slowdowns in redrawing images I’m working on (16-bit TIFF photos) since working in 1920×1200 px on a new LCD.
Slowdowns occur either when I press spacebar or select hand tool and move the image. It’s like slow screen-refreshing rate – that’s how it look – or when you do a clean Windows installation and don’t have graphics driver installed yet – moving explorer windows causes lag.
I did a clean vista x64 installation yesterday on a new harddrive. Things were okay (no lag at all) for about on hour. Suddenly it all went back, just while working on a standard 16-bit tiff file.
My PC specs: core2duo E6600 2.4 gig, 4gb ddr2 ram, GF 8600 GTS 512 MB, seagate barracuda 7200.10 sata2 16mb cache harddrive, Vista x64 ultimate.
Any help appreciated!
Regards
