I convert a color jpg to Greyscale in Photoshop CS2 and it looks great on the monitor. Yet when I print it I get a lot of green tinting. I am using Windows XP service pack 2 and an Epson Photo Stylus 260 printer.
Any suggestions appreciated,

I don’t know Epsons, but I’ve known a lot of HP and Lexjet desktop inkjets that have been notorious for adding color to what should have been BW prints (usually adds blue or green). My usual workaround is, on the printer screen, go to preferences (or setup) and under quality check Print as BW (if your printer preferences offer that option). That forces it to print using only the black ink.

On Epson R1800 settings are:
COLOR MANAGEMENT
PHOTO ENHANCE
TONE
Drop down menu give three versions for gray neutral, warm or cool.

I prefer warm. Results are not great, but acceptable.
