Hi all, I’ve a little problem trying to store File Info informations using Save for Web in CS3.
Some of the File Info informations get lost (i.e. if the image is copyrighted).

To achieve this I’ve to reopen the jpg file, update File Info again, and save.
The main problem, anyway, is that open/save operations in jpgs lead to a degradation of the image that I would avoid.

Can you help me.

If your copyright information is held in the exif data of the file then you will lose this data when you save for the web.
This option removes such info and anything else it can get away with to enable faster image redraws on web pages.
Best use a copyright symbol (for what’s it’s worth)on the image itself if you must use the SftW option.
